Beach Plumbing is hiring an organized, dependable, and friendly Office Administrator / Dispatcher to join our growing team. This role is a major part of keeping our company running smoothly day-to-day. You will help manage incoming calls, dispatch technicians, schedule appointments, communicate with customers, and help keep the workflow organized between the office and field team.

Customer service experience preferred. Plumbing experience is NOT required.
Some overtime during busy season. Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday calls may be required.
Pay is based on experience, attitude, organization, and overall fit for the role.
We are willing to train the right person with little to no experience if they are friendly, coachable, dependable, and eager to learn.
We are also willing to pay more for someone who brings strong experience, leadership, ownership mentality, and the ability to work independently while helping improve office systems and workflow.

The Plumbing Technician – Is responsible for troubleshooting, installations, repairs and maintenance of plumbing equipment and mechanisms, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all work done is in compliance with established codes, laws and regulations.
At Beach Plumbing, integrity comes first. We prioritize quality workmanship and real solutions over high-pressure sales tactics. Therefore we need qualified plumbing service providers versus talented salesmen.
Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at residential job sites
• Troubleshoot, adapt and resolve/repair issues that would keep equipment from running properly.
• Identify tools and special equipment needed
• Knowledge of how to maintain, repair, diagnose and correctly install or replace plumbing systems
• Develop and present a complete set of recommendations and related pricing
• Communicate benefits of recommendations and risks involved
• Perform required documentation for each installation/repair
• Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer or systems and fixtures are met.
• Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Answer any questions the client may have about their systems
• Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
• Ensure proper billing, invoicing and daily documentation of activities
• Maintain a clean, organized and well inventoried truck and job site
• Maintain inventory of parts, fixtures, tools and other shop equipment
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats
• Train and mentor newer or less experienced staff to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations
• Adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality
• Ensure all work done meets environmental protection requirements
• Operate a variety of specialized equipment including, but not limited to, power roto-rooter, snakes, trenchers and other power and hand tools commonly used in the trade
• Knowledge in bathroom and small additions
• Must be able to take Call, including nights and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• A minimum of three years related residential service plumbing experience
• Remodel plumbing work experience preferred.
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
• Proven track record in soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, and drain clearing.
• Must have the ability to safely store a company-assigned work van at home.
The Plumbers Helper supports the Lead Plumber by assisting with installations, repairs, truck organization, material handling, customer service, and jobsite cleanliness. This position is designed as an entry point into the plumbing trade and serves as the first step toward becoming a skilled service plumber through Beach Plumbing’s apprenticeship program.
Helpers are expected to work safely, maintain a professional appearance, protect customer property, communicate respectfully, and demonstrate a willingness to learn every day. Helpers are not permitted to diagnose plumbing problems, quote prices, perform gas work without direct supervision, or work independently without instruction.
Success in this role is measured by reliability, safety, coachability, workmanship, and the ability to increase the efficiency of the lead plumber while continually developing new skills.
